"This 8” sub is equal parts bang and buck. I have it in a slim ported box under the back seat of my 21’ bowrider and it’s perfect. I’m running a 250x1 kicker amp for the sub and it’s literally perfect. At higher volume and higher base tones you will get some distortion, but overall it’s far exceeded my expectations."

"Speaker is rated for 250w and was run and failed on a 50w system after about 16hrs of use in 13 months time. . . I only turned this speaker above 25% volume about 5-10 minutes for testing and tuning. I personally don't consider this a reliable part. Hope everyone else has better luck. I gave it two stars becaue it did work until it didn't. . ."
