Great sound for 2 days

"I buy Rockville rva600 to pair with this speaker, was installed correctly I have a sealed box. This speaker sounded impressive deep frequency response more like 10"" or even 12"" After making sound tune just right and was VERY pleased after the second day heard a rattle in woofer, placed slight pressure on rubber surround and rattle subsided but after that heard rattle paper sound from coil then smelt that smell when you know something not right a few minutes after NO SOUND FROM SUB! Amp light was still on so, I check amp with another speaker the amp was not the problem. Call company for RMA. I could not stand to wait mabey up to 2wks turn around. So while Im inconvenience of this new system I install I went to local sound shop for over the counter sub paid the extremely crazy over priced kicker. install the kicker sub they handle the power but DONT sound NO WAY hit anywhere as hard or close to Rockville K5 W8K5S2 8"". I'll ask Rockville if I can pay the difference and get the upgrade W8K9D2 8"" I'm sure that one will make me smile again. I'll never get the money back I paid for that temporary fix of a speaker I'm using now. Go Rockville"
