Product Description

This 15" raw subwoofer is built for serious low end in PA mains, DJ subs, and bass rigs. A Kevlar-reinforced paper composite cone and treated surround deliver controlled excursion, while a 2.5" 4-layer CCAW voice coil with a 70 oz magnet drives 750W RMS/1500W peak. With 103dB sensitivity and response to 37 Hz, it produces deep, articulate bass with authority. The aluminum composite former, dual Nomex spider, and basket cooling system maintain performance under heat for reliable shows, sessions, and installs.

Thought this was a joke 1500 W at this price

"So far (Since 1-2021) I have had these in my cabinets each powered by a Bridged Peavey CS 1000 X (@ 4 ohms puts out 1500 watts RMS) I will say they blew my mind and have not blown up I have had windows rattle, the Popcorn ceiling fall off and cracked my wall 2 places and Neighbors impressed ( Honestly one is old Heavy metal gut like me other has band practices in his garage 2-3 times a week) I waited longer then I should to review but it proves these are Legit. I wish I could capture the insane sound to share. I honestly thought these would die within a week or less but over 5 years still sounding awesome."

"For my purposes, they are excellent, deep bottom, quality materials, used @ 35 to 50 watts program they suit my needs perfectly in a 20' x 30' room, the 2 Rockville 6x9's I'm using for mids are performing beautifully with a 50uf crossover capacitor to cut off the lower end at 1khz. These speaker components are unbelievable at the price, even Altec & ElectroVoice were only 35 to 50 watts RMS respectively. Which is extremely loud !"

A great replacement woofer

"I wired these directly without a cross over or fuse on my Cerwin Vega AT-15's so It's getting all the juice from the amp. then compared them to the other 2 CV AT-15's I have side by side and the sound was about the same may even a bit better bump on the low end and they are good sounding at low volume too just as good as the originals. after letting them break in for a few days at half volume around 100 watts of power I cranked them up and wow the house shook and rattled the original woofers wouldn't handle that and I actually cut the bass down probably for the first time. the speakers fit perfect in the cabinet, and I was able to use the original screw holes too and it looks good. . . It makes an excellent replacement. Thanks' ROCKVILLE"

CV E-715 Replacements

"I purchased a pair of used CV E-715 that had bad woofers. I replaced the surrounds and didn't do a good job on my first one so I decided to install these Rockville speakers instead. Wow !! These things will get your attention. Wall shaking. . window rattling. . love them. . I had been listening at quite loud volume on multiple occasions and I started hearing this rattle coming from one of the speakers. . Thank you Korn. . it took me a minute to figure out what was going on. It turns out that this woofer actually made the speaker enclosure start coming apart and had separated the back panel and it was sitting there loose and vibrating. I had to take some wood glue and a couple bar clamps and reattach the back. That's awesome right there !! Broke the speaker box. . That's was with only 150 watts a channel from my old school Pioneer Spec 1 & Spec 4 system. Don't question yourself about buying these. Just get the wallet out and do it. These woofers are just as good if not better than the originals that you have."

AT-15 replacements

"I've had Cerwin Vega LOUD speakers for over 31 years, 8 of them total. I blew my 15"" woofers about 20 years ago and replaced them with Predator hard plastic woofers, they were just OK, nothing better! I bought these two 15"" 4 ohm woofers from Rockville and am totally blow away! My babies are back! With the boom too I might add! They fill my surrounds with plenty of bass like they used to. I think it's in the cone design, paper with a strong coating that really sounds great! Let me tell ya, I'm a music aficionado with a golden ear, I can hear sounds most people can't! Rockville will be my GO TO company for replacement woofers from here on out! Thank you guys so much, love them!!!"
