Design flaw doesn't allow you to mount a lot of TVs centered
"The square tubes on the TV mounting bracket are in the way of mounting the TV in the center. The TV is always 6"" to off-center to one side or the other. And it is NOTICABLE. I'm using a generic Costco 55"", probably the most common TV used for this work. Tech ""support"" told me the solution was to turn the mounting hardware 180 degrees. First, had I followed their advice, the TV would have tumbled to the ground because then the mounting teeth would have been facing the ceiling. Second, when you turn two parallel bars 180 degrees, they're still PARALLEL and the distance between them has not changed. After more than a dozen frustrating emails strung out over a month, 2 days after the return window expired they told me they couldn't help. Nor could they make an exception to the return policy. Shady Also the base plate bolts are the wrong size. They poke through more than 1/8"" and scratch the floor. The solution was to put rubber feet on the plate and use an extra washer."
