"Solid speakers. Build quality is better than Dayton Audio and the cherry is a nice finish. But the sound wasn’t what I was looking for. It’s not as flat of a sound signature but more of a party speaker. Highs are crisp and bright. Maybe too bright but manageable with eq. Midrange is flat with most vocals sounding like they are coming from behind the speaker. Not a bad thing but these def need to be paired with a subwoofer for best sound. I would recommend them but only if they are on sale. $50 range seems like a good price for them."
"Sound great look great"
"These speakers sound great playing from my pioneer SX-8500 and my Pioneer direct drive turntable. Both from the 70’s Wasn’t easy to find 400 watt speakers in this footprint They are mounted on my wall and look great"
"I am using these in a bedroom as a bookshelf speaker powered by Altec Lansing amp/subwoofer combo."
"I got $200 for Christmas this year for 2021, and wanted a couple of speakers, which I already have some but figured I'd add on to it, I went on Rockville and ordered a pair of bookshelf 400 watt 4 ohm speakers, at first was scared because I saw a lot of bad reviews. But I ordered mine on the Wednesday after Christmas and legit got them 2 days later very early on Friday morning. They are 4 ohm and my recover is a 6-8 ohm, but if I have them equaled out with my two 8 ohm vintage technics, everything together sounds HARDDD. I can make these things BUMP, even with just the two Rockville bookshelf's connected, they are damnnnn loud. Appreciate the service. Will be ordering more speakers or equipment."
