"Very solid stand. Looks like a music stand, but it is sturdier and more stable. Adjustable height range allows for sitting or standing. Could be used as a midi-computer/controller positioned next to a DJ station or a keyboard or as a computer table for a conference presentation. This item is not a portable desk; there is not enough room for a separate mouse pad or writing space. The photo is representative of the item. The mini tray can actually be positioned further up the vertical support shaft. PROS: Robust. Smooth action on the sliding members. Height adjustment allows for sitting or standing. The rubber skid surface holds the computer in position without sliding. The desk is the perfect size for a 14-inch laptop/notebook. The mini tray looks to be sized for a Focusrite Scarlett interface. The unit folds up flat. Very affordable. CONS: With sturdiness, comes weight. It is heavier than a music stand (for this application, stability is more important than weight). The unit folds up flat - not narrow. Storage must take that into consideration. It is best to attach the desk and leave it attached. The mini tray must be removed for storage; easy to lose by a roadie crew. No tote bag (nor one recommended by the Rockville site). The rubber non-skid pads are much smaller than the desk. The user has to decide on how to best place them to accommodate different type and size computers. The lip is just large enough to catch the computer, but not large enough to also hold a pencil (unless the laptop is very thin). Rated 4. 8/5. Nearly perfect for the intended application. The minor issues are easy to work around and would not have prevented a purchase."
