"This powered speaker has all the functions I need and the cordless microphones produce an excellent sound. The mics themselves are not heavy duty and can pick up sounds from one's hand tapping on the barrel. I created a tight fitting sleeve for each of the mic's barrels using a heavy black felt which reduces any sounds from hand movements. It also will protect the microphones should they be accidentally dropped. I added foam wind screens to cut down on any voice pops. I unscrewed/removed the plastic microphone holder attached to the side of the speaker as it is not very durable and I'm sure would break easily by putting the microphone in and out of this holder. The speaker itself can produce quite a loud volume using the mic and music played through a Bluetooth connection. It was an excellent purchase. Other than testing it out, I hope it will last for years to come with no electrical failure."
