No. It has 10 built-in programs: 5 slower, chill programs and 5 high-energy ones. Each one can run on its own in Auto mode or follow the beat in Sound mode. Pick one from the Mode menu and you have a moving light show without a controller. When you're ready for more control, switch to DMX.

It has four channel modes: 11, 19, 44, and 115. The 11-channel mode keeps programming simple on a basic controller. The full 115-channel mode lets you control each of the 25 RGBW LEDs separately for matrix patterns and layered color washes. Set the mode under Mode > Channel, then set your address (001 to 512) under Setup.

Lay the light on its side and press the two included brackets into the holes on the bottom. Turn the knobs until they click. Then bolt a lighting clamp to each bracket and clamp the light onto the truss. The clamps aren't included. If you don't need overhead mounting, the light also sits on its built-in feet on a stage or floor.

Yes. Daisy-chain the lights with DMX cables, going from DMX out on one to DMX in on the next. Give every light the same DMX address and set each one to DMX run mode. Whatever program or color you choose on the primary light, the others follow in sync. Only set one light as the primary, or the group will flicker and fall out of sync.

It's quiet enough for cocktail hours and dinner sets. Three built-in cooling fans let the light run at full 400W output while staying at just 73.2dBA, so it won't compete with soft background music or toasts at a wedding.

You decide. Under Setup > No Signal, choose Hold to keep the light on its last look, or Clear to go to blackout. Hold is the safer choice for live events, so a loose cable doesn't suddenly turn off the stage lighting.

It's rated IP20, so it's built for indoor use: clubs, banquet halls, churches, and stages. Keep it out of rain and moisture. For covered outdoor gigs, only use it where it stays dry. It works from -4°F to 113°F.
