Product Details
Features
-
Cover A Broad Gauge Range
Ferrules and accessories cover 0ga to 16ga wire, giving marine audio installers connection options for multiple sizes in amplifier and speaker-system projects.
-
Match Heat-Shrink To The Wire
Glue-lined heat-shrink is included for 0ga, 4ga, 8ga, and 10ga; 5.0mm OD tubing fits listed 12ga, 14ga, and 16ga ferrules.
-
Identify Connection Parts
Color-coded red and black ferrules, terminals, and heat-shrink make connection parts easier to distinguish when wiring marine amplifiers or speaker systems.
-
Finish Multiple Wire Sizes
The 5.0mm OD tubing fits 12ga, 14ga, and 16ga ferrules, while glue-lined sizes are included for 0ga, 4ga, 8ga, and 10ga connections.
-
Stand Up To Marine Exposure
Marine-grade ferrules, heat-shrink, and grommets are specified for corrosion-resistant, water-tight connections, while UV- and saltwater-resistant cable ties keep wire routing organized aboard a boat.

Support
It covers 0 gauge through 16 gauge. Ferrules and heat shrink come in 0, 4, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 gauge, ring terminals in 0, 4, and 8 gauge, and fork terminals in 4 and 8 gauge. Every part comes in red and black, so power and ground runs stay easy to tell apart.
The heat shrink for 0, 4, 8, and 10 gauge has a glue lining that melts as it shrinks. That seals the connection against water and salt air, which keeps corrosion from creeping into the wire. The 12 to 16 gauge heat shrink is a thicker 5.0mm tube without glue, sized to fit over those ferrules.
A ferrule bundles the strands of a cut wire into one solid tip. It seats fully in an amp's set-screw terminal, holds tighter, and won't fray or loosen as the boat moves and vibrates. The MA25 includes ferrules for every gauge from 0 to 16.
Use ring terminals (0, 4, and 8 gauge) on battery posts and distribution blocks, where a bolt goes through the ring and it can't slip off. Fork terminals with boots (4 and 8 gauge) slide on and off a terminal screw without removing it, and the boots cover the bare metal.
Yes. The kit doesn't include tools, so you'll need a crimper sized for the terminals and ferrules you're using, plus a heat gun to shrink the tubing. A wire cutter and stripper will help you get clean, square ends before crimping.
Fit one of the rubber grommets (sized for 0, 4, or 8 gauge wire) into each hole so sharp edges can't cut into the insulation over time. Then secure the run with the included white cable ties, which resist UV and saltwater on exposed decks and consoles.
