From what I can deduce. . . the instructions were written by someone who thinks we all know as much about these things as they do, which is definitely NOT the case. The instructions need to be much more in depth."

"Wow so happy with the purchase the our Pair Rockville RVLS1 Tripod Lighting Stands+8) Par Can Wash Lights+DMX Controller It was a hit with the band. We needed our own lights and this is a perfect starter lit with extra bars to add more stuff ie. laser lights, strobe lights (which is what I'm gonna do) THE ONLY draw back is I really wont use the DMX no need for a live band but I could see the importance of a DMX at a church or play"
