"I bought this a year or so ago and it's been great, very nice sound through my Sennheiser headphones. I decided to ""upgrade"" to a Schiit Magni 3. Long story short, I'm still using the Rockville. The Schiit preamp just sounded dull and lifeless to me. I'm happy I got the Nagni cheap and didn't pay full price. The Rockville Tube Head is a great value and sounds wonderful."

"for the price, you really can't beat it. a fun and affordable way to change up your audio. changed out to 5654W tubes. found the original 6K4 tubes are warmer, with pleasant bass tones. the 5654 tubes seem more precise and have a bit more oomph. running it from a btr5 to hifiman 400se headphones. hi-fi on the cheap!"
