    Great Uplight

    "So, I purchased this brand on a whim. I needed a few Wedge Uplights, and I came across this brand so I purchased them and ended up loving them. When it was time to start to replace some of our stock of Chauvet Freedom Par 2's, I immediately looked at the Rockville line and found the Best Par 50 and ordered some. This light was great. They were bright, and had 32 preprogrammed colors loaded in. There were only two issues I had with this product, and they were design features that both the Chauvet Freedom Par 2 had as well as the Rockville Wedge had but not The Best Par 50. Unlike the Rockville Wedge, the Best Par 50 cannot be charged by daisy chaining the lights together. So, if you have 40 Best Par 50's you better have 40 outlets to plug them into. With the Wedge, they had power in and power out so we could charge all 16 of our wedges with one outlet. The other feature of the Best Par 50 is the battery charge indicator while the battery is being charged. The only way you know the battery life percentage of the Best Par 50 while it is being charged is to unplug it from the charger and then turn on the light to see the indicator. With the Wedge, the indicator was on while it was being charged. I believe these design ""flaws"" were made so that the light could be made smaller since they are much smaller than The Chauvet or the Wedge. However, I would love for the light to be a bit larger and have these conveniences. The small features missing from The Best Par 50 would not prevent me from purchasing more of these lights or recommending them to anyone. For the price point you can not beat this product."

    "I bought 12 rockiville best par 50 fixtures. I used them at a wedding recently. I was surprised with the batter life of the fixtures, but also the range of the wireless capabilities. I had the lights set up inside, and the DMX controller outside a bit away. All of the lights still functioned properly! I'm going to buy more fixtures in the future!"
