The Rockville RVSPL15.1A is a complete system, which includes: a car subwoofer, enclosure, amplifier, and all the wiring needed for installation.
 
The Rockville RVSPL15.1A utilizes a Single 15" 1500 watt vented subwoofer enclosure. This enclosure is a step up from the ever-popular RV12.1A, which is also an amazing sounding complete system.
 
Most packaged deals on the market use 12" woofers and low quality amplifiers. This bass package comes with an upgraded amplifier that puts out an amazing 1,500 watts peak while producing 500-watts RMS. The 500-watt RMS rating is CEA compliant so you rest assured that your Rockville unit has been held to the same standards as brands such as Kenwood, Sony, and Kicker. This is one of the only packages on the market that is CEA-2006 compliant.
 
The system includes a newly designed side firing, vertical slot ported enclosure, which puts out deeper bass while packing even more punch! The slot port runs parallel to the center of the enclosure where both woofers load and equally share their space. The vent is strategically located on the right side of the enclosure so that it can corner load in your vehicle. By taking advantage of the acoustic coupling of the woofers location in reference to the port, this custom tuned port ensures maximum output while also providing an equivalent of +3dB boost. This is almost like doubling your amplifier power!
 
The subwoofers in this package boast superior quality to similar packages currently on the market. Among other features, they feature high power 2" high temperature aluminum 4-layer voice coils with bumped and vented magnet motor structures.
