The Rockville RPA8
3000-watt power amplifier combines efficiency with
great sound to deliver a lightweight amplifier that packs a ton of
punch. This amplifier is engineered using advanced design and
components creating a lightweight design and extremely reliable
operation that can pound on a daily basis for years and years of use.
The computerized IC controlled protection circuitry allows delivery of
peak power while preventing overloads. The RPA8 is optimized for 2, 4
and 8-ohm speakers, and is equipped with a stereo/mono speaker output
switch allowing for quick system impedance optimization. The RPA8 amp
fits perfectly into standard 19” racks, and is lightweight enough (less
than 30 lbs.) to make it incredibly easy to transport.

Efficient operation
Manufactured using a
premium oversize toroid power transformer for
reliable performance coupled with a fan cooled air movement system;
this amp runs cool and efficiently so your music will never stop. The
cooling system is designed to pull in cool air through the large vents
in the amplifiers’ front panel. This cool air then travels through the
amplifier, over the power transformer and the internal transistor
aluminum heat sink and exhausts out the rear of the chassis. The
continuous airflow keeps the transformer and output transistors cool so
your system can keep playing for hours and hours at peak performance
without any thermal issues. Our goal is to ensure stable performance
and long life.
Computerized
IC Protection Circuitry
Our unique IC monitoring
protection circuit allows for full peak power
delivery while preventing detrimental overloads. In case of extended
clipping the circuit reduces gain slightly to keep the music playing
cleanly while protecting the speakers from excessive distortion levels.
Mono
Subwoofer-ready
A stereo/mono switch on the rear of the system
allows for quick configuration to either use multiple speakers in
stereo mode or bridging the power and using one subwoofer in mono mode.
