Rockville is proud to introduce our new RCS series of products. The RCS2-320-6 is a 320 Watt stereo rack mountable 70 volt amplifier/receiver. This versatile amplifier is capable of handling 70 volt, 100 volt, 8-ohm, and 4-ohm applications, making it perfect for use in various settings, including Restaurants, Bars, Cafés, Schools, Conference rooms, and more.

This model offers 320 watts at 70 volts or 100 volts and allows you to split the power into 6 mono zones or 3 stereo zones. Each zone can have its power allocation customized according to your needs. For instance, you can allocate all 320 watts to one zone with a single volume control, or distribute it across zones as desired. Wiring each zone is simple – just wire all the speakers in parallel. The advantage of this stereo model is the ability to play music with left and right channel separation.

With 3 mic inputs, each equipped with echo control, this amplifier is ideal for announcements, speeches, or even Karaoke nights. Additionally, it includes a chime button for creating a chime sound before making announcements. The RCS series features Bluetooth audio streaming, allowing you to play your favorite music or access playlists directly from your phone. The amp also features USB and SD inputs, enabling you to play audio stored on a USB thumb drive or SD Card. There are also 2-line inputs for connecting other audio devices such as MP3 players, CD players, TVs, etc. This new and improved version now includes an optical input for connecting to digital sources like televisions or projectors.

Individual volume knobs for each of the 6 zones and volume knobs for each of the 3 mic inputs provide you with full control over your system. The built-in clipping limiter function protects your speakers and the amp from overheating, while the cooling system keeps components running cool, ensuring the amplifier's durability and reliability.

This model features euro-block speaker terminals that simplify wire installation, even in hidden corners. The terminals are detachable and easily connect your speaker wire to the terminal with a simple click.

Our goal with the RCS series was to make it possible for anyone to install 70 volt systems without the need for expensive contractors. This model simplifies the connection of multiple speakers and external sources. We use common plugs like RCA, bare-wire terminals, and 1/4" connectors to make it more universal and user-friendly. Additionally, we provide wiring, installation, and training videos to empower you to do it yourself successfully.

What is 70 Volt? 70 volt systems offer numerous advantages when installing multiple speakers. They simplify wiring and matching speakers with amplifiers. For example, with this 320-watt/70-volt amplifier, you can install speakers totaling close to 320 watts, regardless of whether it's 30 speakers at 10 watts each or 60 speakers at 5 watts each. 70 volt systems allow customization by tapping speakers at different wattages for specific areas, ensuring tailored sound distribution.

Moreover, 70 volt systems accommodate long speaker wire runs without signal loss, making them ideal for extended installations. Wiring is straightforward, with positive terminals of the speakers connecting to the positive 70 volt terminals of the amplifier, eliminating impedance concerns.
